Fundada en 1957
Bodegas Torremorón was founded in 1957 as a cooperative of 57 winegrowers in Quintanamanvirgo (Burgos), in the heart of Ribera del Duero. From the outset, the winery has focused on Tempranillo (Tinta del País) and on producing wines of quality, authenticity, and outstanding value for money.
History
Torremorón grew by bringing together small, old vineyards, many planted in the mid-20th century, while maintaining manual harvesting. The winery blends its historic underground cellars with modern technology for grape selection and ageing in barrel. Its goal: to create balanced, fruit-driven wines that remain true to the northern Ribera del Duero terroir.
