Señorío de Rubiós is a cooperative winery in Rías Baixas, located in the Condado do Tea sub-region, with a strong focus on Atlantic grape varieties. The winery works with vineyards spread across granite and schist slopes, using manual harvest and strict grape selection. It produces Albariños, blends of Treixadura, Loureira and Godello, as well as native red varieties such as Sousón, Espadeiro, Caiño and Brancellao. Their wines aim to express freshness, typicity and balance.
History
Founded in the early 21st century to bring together small growers from Rubiós and As Neves, the cooperative consolidated its project in 2003 with the construction of a modern winery. Since then, it has revived historic grape varieties and sustainable practices, and promoted sparkling wines and single-vineyard bottlings. Its growth, based on quality and local identity, has made it a benchmark producer in the Condado do Tea area of Rías Baixas.
