Fundada en 2013

MG Wines Group is a winery group based in Alicante, bringing together unique wine projects from across the Mediterranean arc. Its portfolio includes estates such as Monóvar (home of Fondillón), Sierra Salinas, Lavia, and Casa Corredor. The group champions estate-grown vineyards, minimal intervention and sustainability, with ageing processes ranging from stainless steel and French oak to century-old casks where historic soleras are matured for the production of truly singular wines.

History

The group was founded by Alicante entrepreneur Luis Miñano San Valero, with the aim of preserving local identities under a shared management vision. Between 2013 and 2014, wineries such as Sierra Salinas and Lavia were integrated, followed by Monóvar and its legacy of Fondillón. MG Wines combines technical investment, the revival of traditional winemaking styles, and the international promotion of Mediterranean wines rooted in terroir and heritage.

  • Fondillón “50 Years” and “Estés donde estés”: Acclaimed for their ageing in century-old casks and historic soleras
