Bodega Cuatro Rayas, located in La Seca (Valladolid), is a winemaking cooperative founded in 1935. With over 2,500 hectares of its own vineyards, it is a leading producer of white wines in the Rueda Denomination of Origin. The winery specialises in the native Verdejo grape, but also produces wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, and Tempranillo. Cuatro Rayas stands out for its commitment to sustainability and innovation in viticulture.
History
Originally founded as the “Bodega Cooperativa de La Seca”, Cuatro Rayas was born from the union of local winegrowers seeking to improve the quality and marketing of their wines. In 1946, the name was changed to “Agrícola Castellana”. Over the decades, the winery has evolved into a modern and sustainable operation, becoming a benchmark in the production of quality white wines.
