Chateau Sainte Croix

Fundada en 1927

Château Sainte Croix is a family-owned estate located in Carcès (Provence), with over 50 hectares of vineyards nestled between the Lac de Carcès and the Thoronet Abbey. The domaine cultivates Mediterranean and Muscat varieties, producing white, rosé, and red wines under the Côtes de Provence and IGP Var appellations. Its style combines careful harvesting and precise ageing to create expressive, fresh, and gastronomic wines, with flagship ranges such as Charmeur and Réserve des Anges.

History

Once a fortified farm dating back to the 12th century, the estate was originally worked by Cistercian monks during the construction of the nearby abbey. The Pélépol family purchased the property in 1924, and by 1927 had established their own winery in the village, leaving the local cooperative. Four generations later, they continue to perfect award-winning wines that reflect the distinctive character of central Provence.
