Ausàs Bodegas y Viñedos is the personal project of oenologist Xavier Ausàs, located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, in the Ribera del Duero region. The winery is distinguished by producing single-varietal wines from selected plots, noted for their aromatic purity, freshness, and tannic elegance. Its flagship wine, Ausàs Interpretación, reflects the relationship between the winemaker and the terroir, offering a true expression of the vineyard.
History
After 25 years of experience at the Vega Sicilia Group, where he served as Technical Director from 1998, Xavier Ausàs decided to launch his own project in Ribera del Duero in 2016. His deep knowledge of the region’s viticultural subzones and his collaboration with trusted growers enabled him to create Ausàs Bodegas y Viñedos, focused on producing wines that reflect the true identity of the terroir.
