Fundada en 1999

AALTO wineries and vineyards was founded in 1999 in Ribera del Duero by Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini. From the very beginning, its goal was to produce Tempranillo wines that combined oenological precision, selection of old vines and a modern identity, with a focus on quality and consistency year after year.

History

AALTO grew by combining old vineyards in various villages of Ribera del Duero to express an assemblage of terroirs. The winery is committed to manual harvesting, barrel ageing, and a meticulous classification of grapes. Their wines AALTO and AALTO PS have become international benchmarks for their depth, balance, and ageing potential.
